Out of all the emotions a human can feel, guilt is arguably one of the worst. The feeling of guilt is felt when someone feels they haven't done enough to positively affect the present or future. Guilt is basically sadness, except with the feeling that what happened is your fault. For example, one could be sad they scored poorly on a test, but then they will be hit with the feeling that they are the reason they are not happy with the present.
Lately, I've felt guilty about a lot of things. I feel guilty that I've spent too much time on my phone this weekend and not enough studying. I feel guilty for not posting on this blog as often as I should (sorry :( ), and I also feel guilty that I haven't been kind enough to my sister.
However, I have been able to overcome my lethargy-induced guilt by setting goals for myself. This way, I can push through procrastination and do what needs to be done. This way, the feeling of guilt does not persist.
